it.

Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in
England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after
all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is
always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a
democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist
dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to
the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to
tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack
of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in
any country. - Herman Goering
Which has exactly WHAT to do with Sarah Palin?
The last time i checked she was not an elected official at the Federal
(or indeed ANY) level and therefore not in the policy makin bidness.
Any war or other national policy now has to fall squarely on the
shoulders of Barack Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress.
Or did you miss the election result news? I'm pretty sure it was in
the papers back in November 2008. TV? Internet?
And rather than try to inflame the citizenry by telling them they are
being attacked, Barry and his crew's schtick seems to be just the
opposite...telling people who are being attacked that everything is
cool.
"The system worked. Well, it kind of worked but with
mis-communication. Oh no, wait...we think there may have been a
Republican plot to withhold information about this alleged incident
which was totally an isolated incident and not another episode in some
larger, organized plan. Except for the part the Republicans organized,
I mean. That was definitely an organized conspiracy. THEY'RE attacking
our administration, the American people are not being attacked by
Muslim terrorists. Religion of peace and all that. Plus I friggin
APOLOGIZED to them fercrynoutloud...the Muslims, I mean. Not the
Republicans. They're evil."
